Kathy Anderer is experienced as a consultant, literary coach, and classroom teacher. She received her Associate of Arts in 1995 at Edison Community College, and her BS in Elementary Education in 1997 at the University of Central Florida. While working for Orange County Public Schools in 2002, she had the privilege of being at the only school that implemented Reading Mastery Plus as their core reading series for grades K-5. She became a per diem Consultant in 2003, and then a full time Regional DI Consultant with SRA in the Southeast Region in 2004. During her time as a Regional Consultant, Ms. Anderer was part of many implementations in Florida and Georgia.  One large initiative supported at-risk middle and high school students in Orange County Schools, where Ms. Anderer coached at over 20 schools over a 2-year period. She was able to take the teachers through the complete process of initial training, side by side coaching, data analysis and follow-up support to create future sustainability.

Ms. Anderer left SRA in 2008 to seek private work, and is currently an Educational Consultant at Kathy Lathrop Consulting, Inc. Ms. Anderer has supported several sites in Orange County Schools and spent four years in 12 Kentucky schools.
