Routines and Expectations

RnE Nov2025 FBCover

Greater understanding and application of positive behavior support strategies (preventative strategies) increase the odds of good behavior in your instructional setting. Effective classroom managers are known not by what they do when misbehavior occurs, but what they do to set their classrooms up for academic success and prevent problems from occurring.

This interactive, one-day training session will help you

  • Understand the relationship between instructor behavior and the learning environment,
  • Identify key features of an effective classroom,
  • Develop steps toward implementing effective, proactive strategies in your classroom.

Participants will need to print a set of training materials, in color if possible, to use during training. Please expect to receive access to the masters a week in advance.

Access information for remote trainings will be sent the day before the training. If you do receive your access information by Noon PST the day before the training, reach out to bwickman@nifdi.org.

Payment Policy: Full payment or a Purchase Order must be received at least 2 days prior to training to reserve your spot.

Cancellation Policy: A full refund will be issued if our office receives a written request by November 17, 2025, or if NIFDI has to cancel the event. Cancellations after that date will not be refunded; however, we do allow substitutions. A written request must be received in our office before any refunds will be processed.
