Baltimore Direct Instruction Schools Receive Recognition
Hampstead Hill Academy recently was given a 5-star rating by Maryland's Department of Education. This rating system takes into account student achievement on the state test, chronic absenteeism, curriculum and achievement by English language learners. Hampstead Hill Academy has been a part of the Baltimore Curriculum Project since 2002, implementing Direct Instruction as its core curriculum.
Wolfe Street Academy received a 4-star rating by the department and has been utilizing DI since 1998.
NIFDI sends congratulations to the staff and students of both schools. We are proud to continue to partner with Hampstead Hill and Wolfe Street Academy in their efforts to provide quality education to their students.
