The National Institute for Direct Instruction is launching a new program to recognize schools or networks that have demonstrated a long-term commitment to utilizing Direct Instruction programs with fidelity. These entities will be highlighted as Silver Star Schools at the National Direct Instruction conference, at 4:30pm on Thursday, July 24, in Eugene, Oregon. By recognizing these remarkable schools, our hope is to inspire others to achieve similar success.
In this inaugural year, NIFDI will recognize the successes of:
Mystic Valley Regional Charter School, Malden, MA
Baltimore Curriculum Project, Baltimore, MD
