DISTAR Arithmetic 1
DISTAR Arithmetic 1 teaches students to perform the basic operations of addition, algebraic addition (missing addends), and subtraction. Upon finishing the program, learners are able to work simple story problems involving those operations, solve simple problems based on the more-than or less-than signs, derive new arithmetic facts based on an understanding of approximately 35 facts, and apply ordinal counting to simple picture problems.
Participants in this one-day training will learn the initial technical delivery skills needed to support children as they learn and apply these skills.
Participants will need to print a set of training materials, in color if possible, to use during training. Please expect to receive access to the masters a week in advance.
Access information for remote trainings will be sent the day before the training. If you do receive your access information by Noon PST the day before the training, reach out to bwickman@nifdi.org.
Payment Policy: Full payment or a Purchase Order must be received at least 2 days prior to training to reserve your spot.
Cancellation Policy: A full refund will be issued if our office receives a written request by November 3, 2025, or if NIFDI has to cancel the event. Cancellations after that date will not be refunded; however, we do allow substitutions. A written request must be received in our office before any refunds will be processed.
